West Seattle Bridge
Bicycle Trail Cleanup!

  May 23, 2009!  8am to noon
Help in the morning and still have time for lunch and a ride!

Do you ever ride the Trail to West Seattle or commute to Downtown? It is a mess!

Come on out Saturday morning to spruce it up, and make it safer.

Committed to help are:

Washington Alpine Club
Aaron's Bicycle Repair, Inc.
Seattle Department of Transportation

We are looking for help from-
City Of Seattle
Seattle Mayors Office

Do you know of any other business or organization who might like to get involved?

Lets meet Saturday morning from 8-12 to clean it up! Ride or Drive over!
We'll meet in the Park & Ride across from the Chelan Cafe, and then divide up!

Pick up the trash
Sweep dirt and gravel from the Trail
Prune some Ivy and Blackberries that are overhanging the Trail

There is lots of dirt, rocks, sand etc on the trail.
Hopefully SDOT will come and sweep

The crosswalks are in need of restriping, sweeping up the sand and gravel
 and perhaps signs

This is a great time to build our community, do a good deed, and meet some new folks.
